![]() This mission is a reference to another Techland series called Call of Juarez. After finding the child he'll be returned to The Tower, where a reward can be collected from Dawud's wife, Salma. Some time after reaching Old Town Dawud will be heard over the radio saying that he's been bitten and will request someone to save his child. Crane promises to get her son back, one way or another. She will say that Dawud has taken their son, Sammy and abandoned her. Go up the elevator and talk to Salma, the wife of Dawud. While making his way back to the Tower, Crane hears through his radio a message from Brecken, broadcasting a warning about Dawud being armed and having to be returned to the Tower. If anyone sees Dawud, get him back to the Tower ASAP! He's got a gun, I repeat: he's got a GUN. After obtaining a gun and bringing it to him, Dawud will provide the key and requests Crane to get an action figure for his son while getting his reward in the workshop. A German 9mm pistol can also be found in a house in the southern region of town along the bay region. Guns are difficult to obtain in the early game, though they can on rare occassions be found in the trunks of police vehicles. He offers Crane a key which grants access to his former workshop in the slums if he is able to provide him with a gun. Dawud will talk about how he wishes to escape the slums and go somewhere safer, but in order to do so, he needs a gun. While walking around the Tower, Crane will come across Dawud standing in the doorway of appartment 203, the recreation room. ![]() But I have no leads to pursue Dawud, so I'll have to let this go for now. He's abandoned his wife, kidnapped his son, and apparently escaped from the Slums. ![]()
